Application

There may be a layer of oil at the top, stir with a wooden spoon before using. You don’t need much, as a little goes a long way! Stand in the shower and scrub in circular motion, start at the feet, then work your way up the body. Be present with each body-part, blessing your gorgeous temple as you go along. You may want to sing to your body or say affirmations. If you have sensitive skin wet the skin first then scrub the body gently to see how your skin responds. After you have scrubbed the body gently pat the dry so the oils stay on the skin. Use 1-2 times a week.

If you want to hold yourself in a ceremonial way and use the scrub with intention and ritual here are some suggestions to support you to take this devotional practice of your beautiful body deeper.

Light a candle and tune into the flame of Grandfather fire (do this before you scrub your body)

You may like to make a cup of ceremonial cacao beforehand, drink this as you sit in front of the candle flame

Ask yourself these questions

What am I seeking in this moment?
What does my body need in this moment?
What needs to shed in my life?
What needs love in my life?
What needs sweetness in my life?
What needs nourishment in my life?
You may like to journal this down or just feel it in the body

Blow the candle out after you have scrubbed the body and finished your ritual/ceremony. As you blow the candle out send blessings to the plant spirits, Grandfather fire and yourself!

Before scrubbing your body, bring the jar to your heart and connect to the spirit of cacao and the other plants that are in the scrub. Each plant has a spirit, by saying hello and giving thanks for their medicine it will make this practice a lot deeper, the plant spirits also love to be acknowledged and are your dear friends. You can set your intentions after you have spent time connecting. Now place the jar under your nose and take some long slow deep breaths as you welcome the spirit of cacao. After you have scrubbed your body, gently pat the skin dry so the oils stay on the skin. Spend some time mirror gazing, massaging you face, feet, tummy, womb, whatever feels good to our heart and body. You could even play some music and dance, cacao loves to celebrate with music. How do you feel now? What has shifted?

Please note; as these are organic and handmade the texture, colour and smell may differ in each one, They are all made with the same ingredients and love, so don’t worry! The cacao butter and coconut oil can make it super hard in colder months, you can place the jar in some hot water and let it soften a little. Please avoid cuts, wounds and bruises. Please store in a dark cupboard away from sunlight or the fridge. Enjoy!

_{Cacao Tree Remedies}

Introducing the creator

I was guided to make Cacao Tree Remedies in 2022 on a trip to Costa Rica, I sat underneath a wise cacao tree and she showed me what to do. It took me 3 years to go back, where I sat with one tree where a stream lays beneath, Blue Morph butterfly’s and dragon fly’s glide by.

It’s a magical place with very high vibrational energy. I lived with this tree for 1 month, sat with her everyday. She birthed 1 pod when I was there, this is what created the Pod Essence and Tinctures. All of the essences and tinctures are made from this one 400 year old tree.

What was truly special is that this cacao tree had her roots on show, this is rare for the cacao tree. I knew one of the medicines would be the root but I did not know how I would be able to access this part of the tree, I feel she (cacao) gifted me access with such ease.

What is even more special is that the root was exposed to the waters of the stream, half in

the earth and half by the waters.

These remedies and potions come from my heart and in deep communication and respect to the spirit of Cacao.
