Our Mission
Our Goal at The Jasper Cacao Project
At The Jasper Cacao Project, our mission is to source and share some of the world's most exceptional ceremonial cacaos from the Amazon, Guatemala, and other cacao-growing regions that uphold deep respect for the ancestral traditions, spirit, and cultural roots of cacao.
We work closely with Indigenous communities, small-scale farmers, and trusted cooperatives who honour cacao not simply as a crop, but as a way of life. We are devoted to building long-term, direct relationships with growers who cultivate cacao with integrity, care for the land, and preserve the wisdom passed down through generations.
From the Asháninka communities of Peru and women's collectives in Guatemala to traditional cacao keepers throughout Central and South America and beyond, we seek cacao that is grown in harmony with nature, rooted in community, and produced on a scale that supports both quality and sustainability.
Our commitment extends far beyond sourcing. We believe in fair exchange, cultural respect, regenerative cultivation, and supporting farming families to thrive while helping protect the rainforests and ecosystems from which these sacred cacaos emerge. Every partnership is built on trust, collaboration, transparency, and shared values.
From harvest to preparation, packing, and shipping, every step is approached with care, respect, and gratitude. To us, cacao is more than a product. It is a living connection between land, people, tradition, and community. We are honoured to help carry this connection forward and share it with the world.
