Relationships are some of our greatest teachers. They invite us to experience love, trust, vulnerability and connection, while also bringing us face to face with our emotions, patterns and the parts of ourselves we sometimes struggle to express.
Our private Couples Breathwork Sessions offer a supportive space for two people to slow down, step away from the distractions of everyday life and explore a deeper connection with themselves and each other.
Through conscious connected breathwork, guided meditation, mindful connection exercises and shared reflection, you'll be invited to explore your individual experiences while learning to witness, understand and support one another with greater compassion.
Whether you're looking to strengthen your relationship, reconnect emotionally, explore communication challenges or simply experience something meaningful together, these sessions offer an opportunity to meet each other with openness, honesty and presence.
Our relationships are influenced by our emotions, past experiences, communication patterns and how we respond to stress. Sometimes we become caught in familiar ways of reacting, withdrawing or trying to fix things for one another. Breathwork creates an opportunity to slow down, become more aware of what we're experiencing and explore how we relate to ourselves and those closest to us.
Couples Breathwork may help you to:
You don't need to be experiencing relationship difficulties to benefit. Sometimes simply making time to connect with intention can be a powerful experience in itself.
My sessions are designed to be a sanctuary of safety, where self-love and self-expression are encouraged and honoured. This space is free from judgment and supported by a shared intention or supporting healing of mind, body and spirit. Through the gentle guidance of these practices, you are invited to turn inward, embracing and honouring your own emotions, needs, and stories. This safe container fosters vulnerability and authenticity, encouraging you to let go of self-criticism and nurture compassion for yourself. You are invited to express yourself freely, creating a sense of belonging, inner peace, and acceptance that lingers long after the session closes.
Connection, Intentions & Preparation
We begin with a relaxed conversation about what has brought you both to the session, what you would like to explore and any individual or shared intentions. We'll also discuss the breathwork process, personal boundaries and how to support one another throughout the experience. There is no expectation to share anything you're not comfortable with.
Grounding & Connection Exercises
Before moving into the deeper breathwork, we'll explore a selection of gentle practices designed to encourage trust, presence and emotional connection. These may include:
These exercises are invitations rather than requirements, and we'll choose what feels appropriate for you both.
Conscious Connected Breathwork Journey
You'll then be guided into a conscious connected breathwork experience, supported by music and gentle facilitation. This style of breathing encourages a continuous, connected rhythm of breath, creating an opportunity to explore physical sensations, emotions, thoughts and inner experiences.
Throughout the journey, you may find yourself moving between your own personal experience and an awareness of your partner beside you.
One of the important aspects of couples breathwork is learning to witness and support one another without feeling responsible for fixing or changing what the other person is experiencing.
Sometimes the greatest support we can offer another person is simply our presence. Both partners are encouraged to honour their own process, knowing that each person’s experience may be completely different.
Integration, Reflection & Sharing
Following the breathwork, we'll move into a gentle period of rest and integration. You'll have time to reflect individually, with the option to journal, draw or simply sit quietly with your experience.
We'll then create space for sharing, conscious listening and exploring anything that arose during the session. There is no pressure to explain everything or make sense of every feeling. Integration is about allowing the experience to settle and noticing what feels meaningful.
Bringing the Experience Into Everyday Life
Before closing, we'll explore simple ways you can carry your experience into your relationship. This may include shared breathing practices, mindful listening, gratitude exercises or creating more intentional moments of connection in everyday life. The intention is to offer something that can continue beyond the session itself.
Who Are These Sessions For?
Both partners should feel comfortable choosing to take part. You don't need any previous breathwork or meditation experience.
A Space for Both of You
An important part of this work is recognising that two people can experience the same moment very differently. One person may experience strong emotions while the other feels calm. One may feel deeply connected while the other needs space for their own reflection.
There is no right or wrong way to experience the session. Rather than trying to change, rescue or manage each other's emotions, you'll be encouraged to practise presence, understanding and acceptance.
These sessions are held with respect for individual boundaries, personal choice and the unique dynamics of each relationship.
Conscious connected breathwork can be physically and emotionally intense and may not be suitable for everyone. Both participants will be asked to complete a health and contraindications form before attending. Depending on individual circumstances, the breathing technique may need to be adapted, or participation may not be recommended.
